To celebrate NAIDOC Week 2024, we had the opportunity to speak with Artist, @lukemalliedesigns, as he shares his interpretation of this year’s theme, “Keep The Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud”. Join us as he shares his culture through art and storytelling.
This year, the theme for NAIDOC Week is Keep The Fire Burning - Blak, Loud and Proud. The theme honours the enduring strength and vitality of First Nations culture – with fire a symbol of connection to Country, to each other, and to the rich tapestry of traditions that define Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
In celebration of Naidoc Week, Industrie Clothing Pty Ltd., is proud to share the stories of 4 Traditional Custodians; men, each with their own experiences and identity within the community. In conversation, we are fortunate to hear from the Community, allowing us to reflect on our own experiences.
Listen to their stories as we continue to share them throughout the week.
Industrie Clothing acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work in and we pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the nation.
